- Benjamin C. Nemeschy Came from family of clergymen
NORTH TONAWANDA - Benjamin Charles Nemeschy of North Tonawanda died in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo yesterday (April 19, 1984) after a long illness. He was born in Altmont (sic), and lived most of his life in Niagara Falls. His parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Edward Nemeschy, were the founders of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls. He was the brother of the late John Nemeschy, the Rev. Edward Nemeschy and the Rev. Paul Nemeschy. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Stevenson Nemeschy of North Tonawanda; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Schultz of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no prior visitation. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m tomorrow at the chapel of Cornell and Daggett Inc., South Avenue at 10th Street, Niagara Falls, with the Rev. DonaId Rehkopf officiating. Interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery. Contributions to the Lutheran Brethren Church Memorial Fund, 1530 Jamaica Square, North Tonawanda, are acceptable as tribute.
