Services for Theodore E. Ziemendorf Jr., a printer, will be held Tuesday in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 875 Eggert Drive, Town of Tonawanda.
Ziemendorf, 78, died Friday (Dec. 25, 1992) in Sisters Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born in Niagara Falls, the longtime Town of Tonawanda resident served in the Marine Corps during World War II. A retiree of Kenworthy Graphic Services of Buffalo, Ziemendorf also worked for Moore Business Forms and Manhardt Printing.
He was a past president of the Buffalo Litho Club and past treasurer of the National Association of Litho Clubs.
An avid sports enthusiast, he was a softball pitcher, as well as a coach for local amateur softball and basketball teams.
He was a former member of the Western New York and American Rose Societies and a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Hilda Muenkel; two sons, Mark of Los Altos, Calif., and Kurt of Rochester; a daughter, Carey Williams of Melrose, MA.; two brothers, Edwin and Louis, both of the Buffalo area; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery.
