street, died at the General hospital.
Buffalo, Thursday. He retired as a hard-
ware and sporting goods dealer In
Tonawanda six years ago.

Edward W. Broecker, 63 years old,
lift Dexter street, died this morning
at the General hospital, Buffalo,'where
he was taken 10 days ago. He had
been iII for the past four weeks. Mr.
Broecker was a former North Tonawanda
merchant. Six years ago he
retired from business having been en-
gagged as a hardware and sporting
goods dealer on Webster street for
many years. He was a life-long resi-
dent of the Tonawandas. Since disposing
of his business in North Ton-
awanda he had been connected with
the Rand-Kardex burenu.
Surviving are a wife Edith and two
brothers, Charles and Henry Broecker
of North Tonawanda. The funeral will
be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock
at the late residence. Rev. Benjamin
S. Sanderson of St. Mark'schurch will
officiate and burial will be at Elm-
lawn.
