Notes - Eleonora E. Mellenthine, 94, formerly of Ward Road, a former employee of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. in Niagara Falls, died Wednesday (April 5, 1995) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after a brief illness. The former Eleonora Stenzel was born in Wheatfield. She was employed for 25 years in the sewing department at Du Pont, retiring in 1966. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid Society, the Lutheran Missionary League, the DeGraff Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Wheatfield Senior Citizens and the Du Pont 25-Year Club. Her husband, Helmuth, died in 1936. Survivors include two sisters, Mathilda Stoelting of Bergholz and Dorothy Bross of North Tonawanda; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard at Ward Road.
