in Canada.
Following an old German
custom, the bridegroom escorted
the f o r m er Berylmarie
Sawyer Johnson to
the altar of St. John's Lutheran
Church, Youngstown,
where Rev. Elvin J. Reimer
officiated at a double-ring
ceremony Aug. 25, 1962.
The bride wore a taupe
brocade Jacket dress with
turquoise a n d carried a
w h i t e prayerbook topped
with white eymbidium orchids
and lily of the valley.
Mrs. Glenwood Zastrow,
Youngstown, was honor attendant
gowned in white
chiffon embossed with blue
accessories. She carried a
white Bible w i t h yellow
cymbiums.
Glenwood Zastrow was
best man for his brother
, and ushers were Wallace
W. Sawyer, Rochester, the
bride's brother, and Robert
Behren, Youngstown.
An evening reception was
held at the V.F.W. Hall,
Youngstown.
