Srrasburg-Stuller
The wedding of Miss Louise Stuller,
daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Ray
Stuller, Jackson drive, to, Richard
Strasburg, gunners mate, USN, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Strasburg,
Pasadena avenue, was solemnized
Saturday at the Zion Lutheran
church, Cayuga drive. The Rev.
Lawrence Herfurth officiated at the
double ring ceremony before the
altar decorated with white gladioli
and candelabra.
The musical background was provided
by Miss Velma Helwig at the
organ and Miss Jean Ogden who
sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "Gracious
Redeemer."
Given in marriage by her father
the bride wore a long-sleeved gown
of satin and imported rosepoint
lace. It had a round, gathered neckline
of lace adjoined to a fitted
satin bodice. The full satin skirt
was fashioned with side lace panels
«nd had a cathedral train. A fingertip
illusion veil cascaded from a
half-bonnet of lace.-.The bride carried
a white prayer book covered
with lilies-of-the-valley and an orchid
corsage.
The maid of honor, Miss Evelyn
Zobel, wore a ballerina:Iength gown
of orchid net over taffeta with
matching stole and picture hat. She
carried a bouquet of lilies-of-thevalley
with^an inserted orchid corsage.
Miss Frances Rlscille and Miss
Joann Strasburg, bridesmaids, were
similarly dressed in Nile green gowns
with malching stoles and picture
hats. They also carried bouquets of
lilies-of-the-valley and orchids.
Mr. William Strasburg, brother
of the bridegroom, was best man.
Ushers were Mr. Donald Strasburg
and Mr. Earl Strasburg.
For, her daughter's wedding, Mrs.
Stuller wore a dress of navy with
red print and a corsage of red roses.
The bridegroom's' mother wore an
aqua dress with a corsage of yellow
roses.
After a reception at 823 Pasadena
avenue, the couple, left for
their wedding trip.
For traveling the bride chose a
navy faille suit with navy and white
accessories and an orchid corsage.
