Strassburg Will
Probated, Filed
LOCKPORT. Feb. 3The will
of William Strassburg. Town of
Cambria, who died in Niagara
Falls, Dec. 17, 1955, was on file
today after probate in Surrogate's
Court by County Judge Frank J.
Kronenberg.
The will dated Jan. 21. 1952, left
real estate property upwards of
$1,000 and personal property upwards
of $1,000 to the widow.
Emma Strassourg, Sanborn. She
was also named executrix.
Distributees also include Harland
A. Strassburg,. son, Sanborn; O.
V. Strassburg, son, 265 Willow St.,
Lockport; Everen G. Strassburg,
Miller Rd., Niagara Fals; Mylin
K. Strassburg, son, Sanborn, and
Verna G. Farquharson, daughter,
Brayley Rd., Wilson.

For Head of Pekin
Well Drilling Firm
PEKIN, Dec. 19.Funeral-services
will be conducted Wednesday
for William Strassburg, 65, founder
of the William Strassburg & Sons
well drilling business.
Mr. Strassbourg died Saturday
(Dec. 17, 1955) in Niagara Falls
Memorial Hospital .which he entered
Thursday after suffering a
stroke earlier in the week. He had
been in poor health since suffering
a stroke six years ago. A son,
Harland Strassburg, at home, has
been operating the business.
Mr . Strassburg Was a lifelong
member of St. Andrew's Lutheran
Church here and a charter member
of the Pekin Volunteer Fire Co..
He was also a member of the Sanborn
Lions Club.
Born Mav 27, 1890, in Bergholtz,
he was the son of the late Christ
arid Wilhelmina Grassman Strass-
burg.. He was married on June 26,
1913, to Emma Trippensee. He
founded the well drilling firm in
1913.
Survivors in addition to his wife
and son, Harland, are three other
sons, Orville Strassburg, Lockport,
Everen and Myrlin Strassburg, both
of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Mrs.
Lee Farquharson, Wilson: four sisters.
Mrs. Herman Mielke, Mrs.
Edward Wcndt. Mrs. Fred Van
DeWater. ail of this village, and
Mrs. Louis Horacek, Rochester; a
half-sister, Mrs. Minnie Strassburg,
Santa Monica. Calif.; two brothers.
Phillip Strassburg, Sanborn, and
Christ Strassburg. North Tonawanda.:
and nine grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2
p.m. Wednesday at the Pike Funeral
Home. Sanborn, and at 2:30 o'clock
at St. Andrews Church by the Rev.
Edward K. Jeschke.. Burial will be
in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
