Leon W. Strassburg, 50, of the Parkway Apartments,
Niagara Falls, died Wednesday (Feb. 7, 1968)
in Niagara Falls.Memorial Hospital after a.three-day
illness.
He was a foreman at the
Bonded Abrasives Division of
the Carborundum Co., Niagara
Falfis, where he had been employed
for 33 years.
Born in the Town of Cambria
March 24, 1917, he was the son
of Philip and Bertha Pahl
Strassburg. He bad resided in
Sanborn until moving to Niagara
Falls seven months ago.
.He was a veteran of World
War II and was stationed in
North Africa, Italy and Southern
France.
Survivors include his wife
the former Mary Jane Drake;
his mother, Mrs. Bertha Strassburg
of Buffalo; a brother,
Walter, of Tonawanda, and one
niece and a nephew.
Friends may call at the Pike
and Jones Funeral Home Inc.,
Hoover Road, Sanborn, from
2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Services will be held at the
funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m.
with the Rev.. Paul W. Czamanske,
pastor of Emmanuel Lu-.
theran Church, Tonawanda, of
ficiating. Burial wll be in
Acacia Park Cemetery.
