The wedding last Saturday afternoon
in the Pierce Avenue Presbyterian
church, when Rev. Richard
A. Davis performed .the double ring
ceremony, united in marriage Miss
Agnes S. McCallum, daughter of
Mrs. Agnes McCallum and the late
William McCallum, Whitney avenue,
and Mr. Melvin A. Ruff, son
of Mr. and Mrs. A. Ruff. Pierce avenue.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her uncle,. Mr. William
Baxter, was gowntd In ivory satin,
fashioned with a fitted bodice and
full skirt, which extendded to chapel
length train. Her finter-tip veil
of illusion was caught by a half hat
of ivory satin. She carried a white
Bible centered with an orchid and
stephanotis.
Miss Sarah McCallum was her
sister's maid of honor and Miss Iris
Wallace was the bridesmaid.
Mr. Harold Jagow was the best
man and the ushers were the
Messrs. Herbert Ruff. Cameron
Brown, Alex Glasgow. Jack Shuttier
and William Young.
Following the ceremony a reception
was held at the home of the
bride's mother.
Mr. and Mrs. Ruff will be at
home. 2473 Whitney avenue, after
July 15.
