A beautiful wedding was solemnized
yesterday afternoon at 4.30
o'clock in St. Martin's church, Niagara
Falls boulevard, when Miss
Clara Belling, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Belling of Niagara Falls
boulevard became the bride of
Lauren De Glopper of Lincoln avenue,
the Rev. Theophilus Berner
officiating.
The bride who was given in marriage
by her father, wore a white
satin gown with lace yoke, and
carried a shower bouquet of bride's
roses and snapdragons. Miss Verna
Belling, sister of the bride, was
maid of honor, her gown being of
nile green net over taffeta, and she
carried a bouquet of talisman roses
and snapdragons.
The bridesmaids were Miss Annette
Graf, wearing orchid net, Miss
Fiorina Pfitzenger, blue net, Miss
Irene Cole of Gardenville, yellow
net and Miss Veleda Matthies, pink
net. All of the bridesmaids' gowns
were made alike, over taffeta slips,
and all carried bouquets of roses
and snapdragons tied with ribbons
the same color as their gowns. Flor
ence Belling, sister of the bride, as
flower girl, wearing a green frock
and her brother, Edgar Belling as
page preceded the bridal procession,
carrying a beautiful basket of
flowers.
Harry De Glopper, brother of the
groom was best man and the
groomsmen were Leonard Thiele,
Ervin Thiele. John Nightengale and
Robert Long. Truman Schwarzenholz
and Elmer Lang acted as ushers.
A reception followed the cere-
mony in the garden at the home
of the bride's parents, with on e
hundred relatives and friends pres-
ent. The attractively decorated
bride's table was centered with a
large wedding cake surmounted by
a miniature bride and groom. Out
of town guests were present from
Buffalo, Grand Island, Williamsville
and Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. De Glopper have
left for a several days western mo-
tor trip.
