- South Macomb News, Thur. Jan 13 1949 Roseville - A heart ailment was fatal to John F. Haseley, 71, of 28732 Victor avenue, last Friday. Mr. Haseley was an employee of Michigan Central Railroad for 31 years and resided here for two years. His F. and A.M. membership was at Lake Orion. His wife, Emma, predeceased him. The Rev. Robert D. Richards of Immanuel Methodist Church, East Detroit conducted services Monday afternoon from the William D. Clyne funeral home, East Detroit, and burial was in Utica cemetery
Will of John F. Haseley of the City of Mt. Clemens dated 7 Dec. 1948. He sets aside the sum of $100 to be used by my executors, hereinafter named to buy plants or flowers to be placed on the graves of myself and wife every decoration day until the money is exhausted. All household goods to: Charles Betzner and Frank Lorenz. To nephew Arthur Bittner $100. To the Methodist Home for Orphans located at West 6 Mile Rd. Redord also known as the Methodist Children's Village the sum of $1000. Many bequeaths to the relatives of his late wife.
Papers indicate that his middle name was Frederick.
The petition for probate states that John F. Hasley died 7 Jan 1949 a resident of the Village of Roseville with real estate valued at $2000 and personal estate valued at $5000.
