- Buffalo News, The (NY) - October 16, 1996. Donald W. Toellner, 84, a retired electrician, died Tuesday (Oct. 15, 1996) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness.
An Ontario Avenue resident, he was employed as an electrician by National Carbon, Steele Electric and Barker Electric.
A Town of Wheatfield native, he was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed bowling and playing cards.
His wife of 58 years, Esther H. Buerger Toellner, died in 1994.
Survivors include two daughters, Dana Waselus of the Town of Niagara and Carol Foshee; a brother, Roy of North Tonawanda; two sisters, Ruth Greiser and Leona Doebler, both of North Tonawanda; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 18th Street and Cleveland Avenue. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield
