Mabel E. Dobbertean, 84, of Cayuga Street, a former sales clerk in Niagara Falls, died Tuesday (June 22, 1993) in the Niagara Lutheran Home, Buffalo. A native of Beaverdale, Pa., the former Mabel Evans lived in Niagara Falls before she moved to Lewiston in 1952. Mrs. Dobbertean was a sales clerk in the men's department at Jenss in Niagara Falls for about 20 years. She retired in 1978. She was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Messiah in Lewiston, a member of the Lewiston Senior Citizens and of Niagara Frontier Chapter 658, Order of the Eastern Star, in Niagara Falls and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Lewiston Fire Company 1. Her husband, William H., died in 1963. Survivors include a son, Richard D. of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Nancy D'Arcangelo of Youngstown; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Services will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Thursday in the Lutheran Church of the Messiah, 915 Oneida St. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria
