John Henry Luick, 84, a 40-year employee of the Nabisco Shredded Wheat plant, died Friday (June 29, 1990) at his home on Shantz Avenue.
Luick was born in the former Village of LaSalle and remained a lifelong resident of the LaSalle section of Niagara Falls after the village was annexed by the city. His late father, Jacob Luick, was an early settler in LaSalle, and was one of the village's first constables.
He served in Europe with the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from Nabisco in 1971.
His wife, the former Margaret Mullane, died in 1982.
Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Frawley of Lockport, Edna Nevling of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Olive Salt.
Services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Monday at the Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
