GASPORT - A farmer of the
Gasport area for 50 years, William
Genet, 77, died this morning
(Nov. 22, 1961) at the O'Stewart
Nursing Home in Gasport.
Born in North Tonawanda June
17, 1884, he was the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Genet.
Mr. Genet was a member of the
Vion Evangelical Lutheran
Church of Gasport.
He was married to Josephine
Schmidt Genet, who died March
1, 1957.
Surviving him are two daughters,
Mrs. Walter Seelbinder of
Gasport and Mrs. George Schneider
of Buffalo; three sisters, Mrs.
John Strassburg; Mrs. Joseph
Doyle and Miss Emma Genet; two
brothers Charles and Otto Genet,
all of North Tonawanda; several
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Bream
Funeral Home, Main Street, Gasport,
beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday
and on Friday from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will
be held there Saturday at 2 p.m.
and at 2:30 at the Vion Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Gasport.
The Rev. Paul Nemeschy will officate.
Burial will be in Hartland Central
Cemetery.
