Lumber City War I Vet Dies at 70
NORTH TONAWANDA - Edward Harms, 70, of 88 Hagen Ave., died Friday (Aug. 14, 1964) in Verteran's Administration Hospital, Buffalo. He was a lifelong resident of this city, a World War I Army veteran and a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran church. He was the husband of Golda Woodrich Harms, who predeceased him. Survivors include a son, Le Grand Harms, this city; five brothers, Charles, Benjamin, and Alfred Harms, all of this city, Theodore Harms, Buffalo, and George Harms, Lakeland, Fla., and three grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, where services will be conducted by Rev. A. W. Moldenhauser(sic) at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery.
