THE REV. THADDEUS
Glowacki officiated at the
marriage Saturday (May 23,
1970) of Miss Renee Karen
Witkowski and Michael L.
Sekula. The double ring
ceremony was solemnized at
5:30 p.m. at St. Stanislaud
Kostka Church.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr, and Mrs. Anthony
Witkowski, 3047 Welch Ave.
Mr. Sekula is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Michael Sekula, 1119
Garrett Ave.
Given -in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a Vic-
torian style' gown of peau de
soie and Chantilly lace with
pearls accenting the high
neckline and bishop sleeves.
Lace applique accented the
empire bodice, A-line skirt
and detachable chapel length
train. A matching, framer of
blossoms secured her illusion
veil and she carried a
cascade of roses, stephanotis
and lily-of-the-valley.

THE BRIDE'S SISTER,
Mrs. Rocco J. Bruno Jr., was
matron of honor. Her gown
featured a shirtwaist bodice
with ruffles at the neckline,
and long full sleeves, and Aline
skirt of brown organza
over pink. She wore: a
matching pink organza bow
in her hair and carried a
bouquet of pink Shasta daisies
and lily-of-the-vailey.
Similarly . attired were the
bridesmaids, Miss Barbara
Tomchesin, New'York City;
Mrs. R i c h a r d Witkowski;
Mrs. D a v i d Zimmerman;
junior bridesmaid,' Kathy
Kubarski; and' flower girl,
Ruth Kubarski.
Rocco J Bruno Jr. was best
man. Ushers were Dennis
OsypiewsM, North Tbnawanda;
Richard Witkowski; Conrad
Strutik. Gary Struzik was
junior usher.
A wedding reception and
dinner were held in the
ballroom of Schrafft'e Motor
Inn.
On their return from a
wedding trip to Hawaii, San
Francisco and La's Vegas
Mr. and Mrs. Sekula will
make their home in James
Avenue.
