Elwood E. Kysor Jr., 73, of Mohawk Street, a former employee of the Niagara Gazette, died Friday (July 31, 1998) in Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Town of Tonawanda, after a long illness.
Born in Niagara Falls, he had worked at the Niagara Gazette for 17 years, retiring in 1978 as district supervisor in circulation.
Kysor was a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls, and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz.
He was an avid bowler for many years.
He and his wife, the former Janice N. Milleville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1997.
He also is survived by a daughter, Sandra A. Schultz of Wheatfield; a brother, Donald G. of Plant City, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in St. James Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Rohr Street, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery
