Norma Jean Stange Wallace

JACKSON, TN — Mrs. Norma Jean Stange Wallace, age 71, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at her residence, after a long illness. Norma was born in Niagara Falls, NY on Oct. 13, 1942, the daughter of the late Esther Behnke Stange and Norman Stange.
She graduated from Erie Co. Community College and Lambuth College with a B.S. in business in 1995. Norma retired from Lambuth University as Director of Financial Services in 2008.
She enjoyed traveling to Western New York to visit family and she also loved attending her grandchildren's sports activities.
Norma is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edward G. Wallace of Jackson, TN; three sons, Michael and wife Sandy of Lockport, NY; Mark and wife LaRoyce of Jackson, TN; Matt and wife Sara of Jackson, TN; seven grandchildren, JaNessa Vance, Robyn Wallace, Sean Wallace, Ashley Wallace, Nathan Wallace, Anna Wallace, Drake Wallace; two great-grandchildren, Joshua Broyles and Braxton Mitchell. She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Stange.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 24, from 5-7 PM at Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church, 160 Campbell St., Jackson, TN. A private service for the family will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church, 160 Campbell St., Jackson, TN 38301, where Norma attended for many years.
