MILLS - Melvin Mills, 76, Monday evening (Nov. 5, 1956) at his home, 391 Falconer St., after a long illness. He had been a North Tonawanda resident 52 years. Surviving is his wife, Emma. He was the step-father of the Rev. Edward Kolbe of Appleton, Mrs. Reinhardt Tober of Buffalo, Carl of North Tonawanda, Herbert of Gasport and Mrs. Irene Guido of North Tonawanda; 20 grandchildren; a brother of Elmer Mills of Rochester, Mrs. Henry Herdegen and Mrs. Glenn Boworm, both of Batavia, and Mrs. George Canham of Elba. Friends may call at Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., where services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. A. Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery.
