SCHOENFELDT Levant C. Schoenfeldt, 54, of 124 Rumbold Ave., North Tonawanda, died today, Monday Oct. 26, 1953 in the DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in North Tonawanda and was a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Schoenfeldt had been stationed at the Active Hose Company headquarters in North Tonawanda as a driver for 25 years before retiring in 1949. For the past six years he had been employed as a machinist by the Alan Herschell Co. He was a member of the Sweeney Hose Company 7 and the Firemens Benevolent Association of North Tonawanda. Mr. Schoenfeldt is survived by his wife, Myrtle, nee Lozo; a son, Albert C.; a daughter, Mrs. Dale Schroeder; three grandchildren; and a brother, Benjamin, all of North Tonawanda. Also a sister, Mrs. James Jamieson of Tidioute, Pa. Friends may call at the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St., where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Carl E. Berges will officiate. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Park.
