TONAWANDA - Clyde W.
Rech, 63, of 226 Broad St., a former
alderman, died unexpectedly
last evening (April 3, 1956) at his
home after a heart attack.
A lifelong resident of this city,
Mr. Rech formerly was associated
with the Henry Rech & Son Bottling
Works until the business was
sold in 1947.
A Republican, Mr. Rech served
as alderman from 1950 to 1956.
He was a graduate of city schools
and the Mechanic's Institute of Rochester,
where he majored in architecture.
He bred boxer dogs as
hobby from 1948 to 1954. He was
a member of the First Presbyterian
Church.
Survivors include his Wife. Grace
Gallup Rech; his mother, Mrs. Harriet
Rech and a brother, Duane
Rech. all of this city.
The Rev. Howard L. Davies will
conduct the funeral service at 2
p. m.. Friday at the Hamp Funeral
Home. Interment will be in White
Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery
