ZAGGEL - George W. Zaggel, 59, of 30 Leonhardt St., North Tonawanda, died Tuesday (Nov. 27, 1962) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda and formerly was employed at Remington Rand where he was a member of the 25-Year Club. He was also a member of the Live Hose Co. No. 4; North Tonawanda Firemen's Benevolent Association, and the Eldridge Bicycle Club. He was the husband of the late Bertha Blau Zaggel, and is survived by a son Donald R., of Waco, Tex.; a brother, Leroy of North Tonawanda; four sisters, Mrs. R. F. Carroll and Mrs. Walter Ferguson, Sr., both of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Stanley Tingue of Gowanda and Mrs. Jay W. Smith of Warren, Pa.; also survived by two grandchildren. Friends may call at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday from the funeral home with the Rev. Lynn S. Bugbee officiating. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Park.
