Mr. and Mrs. August Witkop of
Upper Mountain road, Pekin, announce
the engagement of their
daughter, Emma Ruth, to Martin
W. Eberhardt. son of Mr. and Mrs.
William H. Eberhardt, of 362 Oakdale
drive, North Tonawanda. The
wedding will take place in the near
future.

The marriage of Miss Emma Wit-
kop daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Au-
gust Witkop of Pekin to Martin
Eberhardt son of Mr. and Mrs.
William Eberhardt of 362 Oakdale
North Tonawanda, was sol-
emnized Monday evening, July 15
at St. Paul's Lutheran church, the
Rev. F. A. Hinners officiating. The
wedding march from Lohengrin
was played by Arnold A, Nuoffer,
and "O Promise Me" was sung by
Mrs. Alfred Janeke. The church
was decorated with garden flowers.
Given in marriage by her father,
tie bride wore a dress of white
lid veil of illusion caught
with orange blossoms. She carried
roses and lilies of the valley. Miss
Caroline Witkop, sister of the bride
was maid of honor wearing a dress
of pink rnousseline de soie. Her
bouquet was of roses and sweet
peas. Dolores Evelyn Starkey
niece of the groom, was flower girl.
She wore a frock of blue organdie
and carried a basket filled with
roses and sweet peas. The groom's
only attendant was George Witkop,
brother of the bride. The ushers
Robert Witkop and Norman
Lemke.
A reception for twenty-five
was held at the home of
the bride's parents where decorations
were garden flowers.
