Alex K. Skivington, 62, of 4721
Pomeroy Ave,, Town of Niagara,
a chemical operator at the Olin-
Mathieson Chemical Corp.'s local
plant for the last 25 years, died
today at his home after a four month
illness.
Born in DuBois, Pa., Mr. Skivington
lived in the Niagara Falls
area for 50 years. He is survived by
his wife, Gladys, and three sons.
Garnet L. and Herbert D., this city,
and William E. Skivington of Chicago,
Ill.; a brother, William A.,
and two sisters, Mrs. Anna A. Wallace
and Mrs. Beatrice Cy Mc-
Geachy, alt of this city. Ten grandchildren
also survive.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Gridley
Funeral Home, 750 Main St.,
with the Rev. William J. Devine,
minister of the Niagara United
Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park
Cemetery.
