The marriage of Miss Marjorie
Evans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Wm. C.. Evans, of 1621 Cleveland
avenue to Mr. Kenneth Bovanizer
son of Mrs. Cora Bovanizer of 2113
Tenth street, took place at Epiphany
Episcopal church at 12 o'clock noon,
Saturday, July 20, the Rev. Davkl
Henry Weeks officiating.
Given In marrlage by her father,
the bride was gowned in moss
green figured chiffon with *hoe« to
match, and white accessories. She
carried a bridal bouquet of white
sweetpeas and gypsophila. •
Miss Irene LaDuke who attended
the bride as maid of honor, wore
a rnoas green chiffon redlngote
dress and.a corsage of ivory sweet
peas and gypsophilia.
Mr. Raymond Bovantier, the bride
groom's brother was the best man
and the tubers were Mr. R. Evans
the bride's brother, and Mr. Georg
Bovanizer. brother of the groom
The bride's mother wore eggshell
silk with white accessorie and
corsage of lavender sweetpeas. The
bride groom's mother wore a dress
of blue figures silk with a corsage
of deep pink sweetpeas.
After the ceremony, breakfast was
served at the Samovar for the bridal
party and the immediate families.
A reception and wedding dinner in
the Evans home, was featured by
a three-tiered wedding cake. Sweetpeas
and snapdragons and Canterbury
Bells decorat/yl the table.
Out-of-town guests were Mr. and
Mrs Arthur Mower, of Batavla, N.
Y.: Mr. and Mrs. James Bailey and
Mrs. Alice Smith, of Phelps. N. Y.;
Mrs. Robert Edgar, of Little Valley.
N. Y.; and Miss Freda Wlllers. of
Los Angeles, Calif.
Among the parties recently given
for the bride-elect were a personal
shower at which Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Lee and Miss Margaret Dilar were
hosts: a bedroom shower by Mrs.
Harry Walker and Mrs. Douglas
Bedell: a kitchen shower given by
Miss Irene LaDuke and a variety
shower by Mrs. Julius Dargls.
After a wedding trip through the
Georgian Bay district, Mr. and Mrs.
Bovanuter will be at home at 2113
Tenth street.
