ST. JOHNSBURG, June 8--A pretty
wedding was solemnized Saturday
afternoon at St. John's Evangelical
Lutheran church, when Miss Erma A.
Werth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav
Werth, of Niagara Falls boulevard,
became the bride of George F. Garlapo.
son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Garalopo, of
Springville, N. Y. Rev. J. W. Thie-
mecke performed the ceremony.* The
church was decorated with lilacs and
palms. Mrs, J. W. Thiemecke sang
two solos, "Oh Perfect Love," and
"Oh Promise Me."
The bride, who entered the church
on the arm of her father, to 'the
strains of Lohengrim, was lovely, In, a
gown sf ivory satin, made on Princess
lines, with yoke of lace and fashioned
with a train. Her veil of lace and
tulle was caught with orange blossoms
and she carried an arm bouquet of
white bridal roses, sweet peas and
gypsophilius. Her sandals were of
white satin.
Miss. Esther Werth, sister of the
bride, acted as maid of honor, attired
in a gown of yellow mouseleine de sole
and carried an arm bouquet of yellow
tea roses and gypsophilius. The bridesmaids,

Pankow, nieces of the bride, wore.
gowns ot green mouseleine desole and
Florence Lemke and Helen Ziemendorf
wore gowns of pink mouseliene de sole,
all made alike, all carrying arm bou-
quets of pink roses and sweet .peas
and all wearing white sandals
Henry Garlapo was his brother's
beat man and ushers were Ronald
Fuerch and Martin Herman. Immediately
following the ceremony a- re-
ceptlon was held for 100 guests.
Pre-nuptial affairs, given in honor
of the bride, were a variety slower
by Mrs. William Pankow, a linen.
shower by Mrs. Gustav Werth and a
variety shower by Mrs. Edward Roland.
