Christian Church was the setting Saturday
(July 24, 1965) for the 6 p.m. wedding of
Miss Carole Ann Heimgartner and Robert
L. Maudsley.
Rev. Lyie Newman with Rev. Charles
Hobbs officiated at the double-ring ceremony
uniting the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
John W. Heim-gartner, 655 Niagara Parkway,
and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert
L. Maudsley, Ward Road.

GIVEN IN MARRIAGE by her father,
the bride chose a gown of rose-point Chantilly
lace with bouffant tiered lace skirt and
small oversklrt of organza with lace
appliques and sequins, terminating in a
chapel train.
A four-tiered veil, designed and fashioned
by the bride's mother, was secured
by a pillbox trimmed in sequins. She carried
a semi-cascade of white roses and
stephanotis centered with an orchid.
Mrs. William Zacher Jr., Williamsville,
sister of the bride, was matron of honor,
and Miss Judy Zaplawa was maid of honor,
attired in gowns of romance green peau de
soie. Matching Dior bows with veils completed
their ensembles. They carried senora
roses and white pompons.
Similarly attired were bridesmaids Mrs.
Richard Engel, Niagara Falls, Miss Carole
Sisson and Miss Arlene Rutkowski. They
carried yellow roses, pompons, and snapdragons.

RICHARD ENGEL, Niagara Falls, was
best man.. Jack Mahoney, Buffalo, was
honorary best man. Ushers were Roger
Heimgartner, brother of the bride, William
Zacher Jr. and George Zapotoczny, Buffalo.
Laube's Lord Amherst was the setting
for an evening reception. For the reception,
the mother of the bride wore lemon
yellow lace with silk organza. The bride-
groom's mother wore a pearl beaded pink
silk organza sheath.
After a wedding trip to Bermuda, the
couple will reside in W. Winspear Avenue,
|
