Wilcox, son of Mrs. Myrtle Wilcox,
of 369514 Pine avenue. Private
Wilcox was killed in action in the
European theater of operations.

Wilcox, Jr., 26, husband of Mrs.
Frances Knize Wilcox, of 1860 Linwood avenue, and son of Mrs.
Myrtle Wilcox, of 3695 1/2 Pine ave-
nue, was killed in action in Ger-
many on March 13.
A native of this city, he was em-
ployed by the Electro Metallurgical
company before entering the army
in August, 1944. He received his
basic trainning at Camp Croft, S. C.,
and left Fort George Meade, Mary-
land, for overseas in January, 1945.
Besides his wife and mother, he
is survived by a daughter, Sandra
Helen, age nine months; one broth-
er, Elmer Wilcox, and one sister,
Mrs. Frank Richardson, all of this
city.
Pfc. Wilcox was a member of an
infantry division attached to Gen-
eral Patton's Third Army forces.
