A very lovely spring wedding was
solemnized Saturday. March 11.
when Miss Eileen A. Boland. daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Boland.
became the bride of Mr. Joseph
Grant, this city and Palm Beach.
The vows of holy matrimony were
exchanged by the couple at St- Ed-
ward's church. Palm Beach. Florida.
the Rev. John Fltxpatrtck officiating
at the ceremony.
The bride was lovely in a dainty
gown of white silk taffeta made on
princess lines with sweetheart neck-
line and three-quarter length sleev-
es. Net trimmed pepums and net
panels adorned the sides of the
skirt. She wore a fingertip veil of
double illusion, with tiara of orange
blossoms, and carried a white prayer
book ornamented with an orchid
from which fell streamers of white
satin and freesia.
Miss Margaret Boland, sister of
the bride, acted as maid of honor,
wearing a beautifull aquamarine silk
taffeta gown made on long torso
line with double net skirt and
three-quarter length sleeves. She
wore a heart-shaped halo of silk net
and carried a prayer book adorned
with pink roses..
The bridegroom was attended by
Mr. Nathan Garzo, army air in-
structor, in proxy for the broth of
the bride, Staff Sergeant Lawrence
P. Boland, now stationed somewhere
in England.
After a honeymoon in Florida,
the young couple will be at home to
friends in this city about May 1.
