Lindhurst-Quick
The wedding of Miss Marjorie
Edith Quick and Kenneth Lewis
Lindhurst was solemnized Friday
evening, June 23, a t 1 o'clock. St.
Paul's church was the scene of
this lovely summer marriage. Dr.
Sylvanus Davies with the officiat-
ing clergyman.
The soft organ music played by
Mrs. R. H. Turver and t h e singing
of "Because" and "I Love You
Truly," by Miss Mary Heath, was
a fitting musical background for
the ceremony. Tall baskets of
roses, mixed garden ..flowers and
ferns were used to decorate the
church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Quick, of Tenth
street, and t h e groom is t h e son of
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lindhurst, of
Lewiston.
The bride chose for her wedding
gown white marquisette over satin.
A shoulder length veil hung from
a wreath of orange blossoms and
she carried a bouquet of white
roses, gypsophea and sweet peas.
Miss Edna Quick, sister of t he
bride, wore a floor-length gown of
blue chiffon and net, with matching
shoulder-length veil falling
from a coronet of flowers. Miss
Mildred Hillman, of Ransomville,
bridesmaid wore a gown of pink
chiffon and matching veil falling
from a coronet of flowers. Both
a t t e n d a n t s carried colonial bouquets.
Mr. Storer Ball was the bestTnan
while the ushers, both cousins of
the groom, were Mr. Harold Lindhurst
and Mr. Richard Whitt, of
Ransomville.
The bride's mother was gowned
In floral printed chiffon and h a d
white accessories. The mother of
the groom was dressed in blue lace
and also wore white accessories.
Both wore corsages of rosebuds,
sweet peas and baby's breath.
The wedding dinner was held at
t h e Imperial hotel immediately
after the ceremony and 21 guests
were present. The bride's table
was centered with a three-tier
wedding cake, flowers and candles
Mr. and Mrs. K. Lindhurst left
on a ten-day trip which will take
t h em to Washington, D. C. and
Albany. Upon their return, they
will be a( home at 517 Seventh
s t r e e t this city.
There were guests from Lewiston,
Youngstown, Ransonvllle, and Rochester.
. P r e - n u p t i a l affairs for t h e bride
included a -kitchen shower given by
Mrs. Barrs a n d Mrs. R. Symonds.
a variety shower by Mrs. L Renouf,
a pantry shower by Mrs. E. Lindhurst
and Mrs. F . Lindhurst and
a party by t h e employes of t h e Splrella
company at the Colonial tea
room, at which the guest of honor
received a Beautiful Toastmaster
