dding of Miss Evelyn B.
Butler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.
H. Esslie, to Mr. Harold T. Parker
son of Mrs. Parker, of Clearfield, Pa.,
was solemnized Saturday evening,
August 21, at seven o'clock at the
Pierce avenue Presbyterian Church
the Rev. John K. Bomeman officiating.

The altar of the church was decorated
with basquets of gladiolus and
laricspur, with cathedral candles at
eajh sides.
The lovely bride choose a redingote
of moussellne de sole, with insertlons
of lace, over white satin for'
her wedding gown. It was made In
princess style with short lace sleeves.
She wore white lace mitts and choose
a shoulder length net veil with. a
halo of orange blossoms. She carried
a white morroco prayer book
with varied lengths of white satin
ribbon tied with gardenias.
The bride was given in marriage by
her brother, Mr. Richard K. Butler.
The matron of honor, Mrs. Oeorge
E. .Gray, sister of the bride, wore a
peach lace redingote over peach satin
with aguamarine accessories. She
carried a' colonial bouquet of baby
mum asters and delphlnufm. The
bridesmaid. Miss Jean Scott, wore an
aquamarine lace redingote over satin
with peach accessories. She carried
a colonial bouquet of baby mum asters
and larkspur.
Mr. Fred Nyckvlst acted as best
man. The ushers were Mr. George
Cota and Mr. Clyde Parker, brother
of the grpom. Miss Verna Tompkins
softly sang "At Dawning" accompanied
by Miss Mary Eckel'at the organ.
The bride's mother wore a white
crepe suit with London tan accessories.
After the ceremony a reception was
held at the home of the bride, 433
Cedar avenue for about 50 guests.
The bridal party was seated at a
table covered with a three tier wedding
cake topped with a miniature
bride and groom, silver candlesticks
with Ivory tapes, completed the arrangement.
After the reception Mr. and Mrs.
Parker left, on a trip to various parts
of the south and northern part of
Canada. After Sept. 5, they will be
at home to their friends at 432 Cedar
avenue. The bride traveled in a
white gabardine suit with white accessories
and wore a corsage of gardenias.
Prennptial affairs for the bride Included
ao towel shower given by the
bride's sister. Miss Nellie Esslie, assisted
by Mrs. R. K. Butler, a dinner
party by Mr. and Mrs. Hubert
Jackson of North Tonawanda: a picnic
by the Billing Department of the
Carborundum, where the bride was
employed, and a bathroom shower by
Miss Jean Scott and Mrs. Walter
Hamilton, at the laters home In Niagara
Fallsl Ontario. After the rehearsal,
the bridal party was entertained
by the bride's sister, Mrs.
Oeorge Oray at her home.
Among the out-of-town guests
were: Mrs. Leo M. Johnson and children,
Mervin and Audrey, of Corfu,
N. Y., Mrs. Harold A Melnwelser and
son. Hugh, of Buffalo, Miss Mary E.
Nell, of Buffalo, Mr. and Mrs. Walter
