NIAGARA FALLS, Ont., Feb. 3
Mrs. Mary Ann Glassbrook, 70, a resident
of this city for t he past 48 years,
died last night at her home, 585 Bender
street. She was the widow of William
Glassbrook who died four years
ago. Mrs. Glassbrook was born In Niagara
Falls, N. Y., where she lived for
some time previous to coming to this
city.
Surviving are one daughter. Mrs.
Lottie Phillips, and a grandson
Glenholme W. Glassbrook. at home;
two sisters, Mrs. Albert Ronnell. Miss
Catharine Shomers, Niagara Falls, N.
Y.; one brother, John Shomers, Niagara
Falls, N. Y.
The funeral will be held at 9:30
o'clock Thursday afternoon from the
family home to Drummond Hill cem-
etery.
Mrs. Glassbrook comes from a pi-
oneer family of Niagara Falls, N.Y.
She was a daughter of the late Peter
Shomers and Bridget Moran Shomers.
Her husband was an official on the
Maid of the Mist for many years.
