APPLETON-Funeral serv-
ices will be conducted at 2
p.m. Monday for Robert D.
Wilson, 82. of 7028 Lake Road,
at the Convin Funeral Home.
Newfane.
Mr. Wilson died Thursday:
night (Jan. 18, 1962) at Inter-
Community Memorial Hospital,
Newfane, after an illness;
of a few days. Predeceased by
his wife, the former Helen;
Mittlestadt, Mr. Wilson had
lived his entire life at the
homestead, which was in the
Wilson family for 125 years.
Born April 27. 1879, he was
a son of William T. and Mar-
tha Hess Wilson. Hess Road;
was named for his mother's
family. He had been a farmer
all his life and was a longtime
member of the Farm Bureau,
Surviving are two daugh-
iters. Mrs. Millard (Arlene)
Coates. Dansville. Calif., and
Mrs. Michael (Ruth) Martin.
Appleton; seven sons, Walter
F. Wilson, Newfane, Robert D.
Wilson, Jr., with the U.S.
Army, Roger E., Lester a., El-
ton G., William T. and Douglas
H. Wilson, all of Appleton; a
brother, George L. Wilson, Ap-
pleton; three grandchildren
and several nieces and neph-
ews. He was predeceased by
three brothers from here, Ray-
mond, Lester and Eugene Wil-
son.
Friends may call at the
funeral home, where the fam-
ily will be present from 2-5
and 7-9 p.m. Services will be
conducted by Rev. Glenn T.
Moore of Somerset Corners
ME Church. Burial will be in
Wright's Corners Cemetery.
