TOWN OF WHEATFIELD — Elizabeth D. Weinheimer, of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2010, under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. She was born in the Town of Pendleton on February 6, 1927, the daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Andrus) Stowell.
Mrs. Weinheimer was a graduate of Lockport Senior High School. She was a production worker at Harrison Radiator in Lockport for over 18 years, before retiring in 1989. Mrs. Weinheimer loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, painting and ceramics.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward F. Weinheimer; two sons, Donald (Barbara) Weinheimer of Shawnee and David (Rebecca) Weinheimer of New Port Richey, FL; two daughters, Carol (John) Pearce of Lockport, NY and Ann (David) Martinez of Ventura, CA; seven grandchildren, Richard, Jeffrey, Tina, Mary, Jennifer, LaRissa and Lindsay; three great-granddaughters, Raegan, Peyton and Aislin; also many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Weinheimer was the sister of the late Donald and Warren Stowell, Dorothy Risebrough and Helen Clare.
The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, NY on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Ronald Lord officiating. Interment in Bear Ridge Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, NY.
