MISS KAREN ANNE-SWARTZ and Richard
L.Smith were married Saturday (Sept. 25,1971),
in a double ring ceremony at 11 a.m. in Sacred
Heart Church. The Rev". Timothy Bronson officiated.

' The former Miss Swartz is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Swartz, 1349 North Ave.
Mr. Smith is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen P.
Smith, 2466 Niagara Road, Sanborn.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride
wore a floor length gown of nylon lace styled with
a Sabrina neckline, scalloped at the edge, and
long tapered sleeves forming points at the wrist.
Her bouffant ruffled skirt was worn over a
hooped petticoat and fell into a chapel train. A
queen's crown caught her bouffant illusion veil
"and she carried a cascade of carnations and pink
sweetheart roses.
MISS MAUREEN J. SWARTZ, sister of the
bride, maid of honor, wore a gown of mint green
with organza bodice and Edwardian sleeves,
accented with.Schiffle embroidery and a Dior
bow. A matching picture hat was worn and she
carried a basket of daisies and pink sweetheart
roses.
.Miss Agnes Ryan and Miss Sue Horn,,
bridesmaids, were similarly attired, as was
Sherry Pfohl, flower girl.
JOHN HORN was best man and the ushers
were David McAnulty and Gary Warner.
Lawrence Swartz, brother of the bride, was
ringbearer.
A reception at the American Legion Hall
followed the ceremony. After a wedding trip to
Canada, the couple will live in this city.
