- Joseph Bradigan, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 31, 2021 at Sisters Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late William J. and Jean E. (Speiran) Bradigan.
Joe attended and graduated from local schools. On June 30, 1984, he married Janet M. (Fasso) Bradigan in Niagara Falls. Joe was employed for over 25 years for the City of Niagara Falls in the Parks Department prior to his retirement. Joe loved playing, watching and coaching hockey, and served as a coach for Grand Niagara, Wheatfield Blades, and the Buffalo Stars. He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills. Joe enjoyed spending time in his pool surrounded by his grandchildren and riding his bike. Above all, Joe cherished the time that he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of 37 years, Joe is survived by his children, Janelle M. (Billy) Rivera, Joseph F. Bradigan and Paul W. Bradigan (Jill Bartel); his grandchildren, Mariana Rivera, Julianna Rivera, Mateo Rivera, Lauren Bradigan, and JoJo Bradigan; his sister Sally (fiancé Robert Martin) Bradigan Litten Martin, as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and his best friends, Paul Ciadella, Gary Demunda, Ray "Tuffy" Gruarin and Jerry Tamborello. He was predeceased by his siblings, Patricia McLaughlin, William (Sallie) Bradigan, James (late Darlene) Bradigan, Colleen McCormick, Marian Santiago, and Jean E. (David) St. Onge; his nephews, Scott W. St. Onge and Brian McCormick, and niece, Rachelle Bradigan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5 from 2 - 6 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin Thursday at 11:15 AM followed by Josephs’ Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Parish at 12 Noon Mt. Carmel Church, 27th and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
