Frawley-Ray
MISS LOUISE CLARE RAY and Charles
Frederick Frawley were married in a candlelight
ceremony at Grace Lutheran Church Saturdav
(Sept. 23, 1961).
Rev. Lawrence E. Herfurth officiated at the
double-ring ceremony uniting the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Russell Ray, 79th Street,
and the son of Mrs. Simon Frawley, 91st Street.

GIVEN' in marriage by her father, the bride
chose a Bianchi gown of peau dp soie trimmed
with beaded motifs with a bell-shaped skirt and
chapel train.
A cabbage rose secured her four-tiered scalloped
veil and she carried a white prayerbook
with two white orchids and lilies of the valley.

MRS. RICHARD CREDICOTT was matron of
honor for her twin sister and wore an amethyst
floor-length gown with a cabbage rose headpiece
and an arm bouquet of white mums with silver
leaves.
Bridesmaids were the Misses Dorothy Frawley,
Elaine Frawley, sisters of the bridegroom,
Evelyn Hiller, Mrs. Donald Hildebrandt and Miss
Gail Berthot. Their ensembles were similar to
the honor attendant's and they carried coral
mums with gold leaves.
Lynnette Fetter was flower girl, wearing an
orchid gown with a basket of yellow and white
pompons. Gary Fultz was rlngbearer.
Harold Greenwald was best man, and ushers
were Ronald Bray, Stanley Fetter, Howard St.
John, Donald Hildebrandt and Joseph Dunmire.
A reception was held at the Bergholz Fire
Hall after the 7 p.m. ceremony. Mr. and Mrs.
Frawley left for a wedding trip to New England.
