Willcox-Strablow
The marriage of Miss Eleanor
Strablow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Herman Strablow, of Lockport road,
and Mr. Clarendon Willcox, of this
city, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand
Willcox, of Hamburg, N. J., was
solemnized Saturday afternoon at 4
o'clock in the parsonage of the Hyde
Park Baptist church, with the pastor,
the Rev. Robert Adams, officiating.
The bride chose a gold cloth suit
with brown accessories, with which
she wore a corsage of sweet peas
centered with a gardenia.
Mrs. Roy Cassatt, sister of the
bride and her only attendant, wore
a brown ensemble with a corsage of
white sweet peas and lilies.
Mr. Clinton Baxter, brother-inlaw
of the bridegroom, was the best
man.
After the wedding a dinner was
served at the Ray-Ott for the members
of the immediate families. The
reception, which was held at 8
o'clock, was at the home of the
bride's parents.
The mother of the bride wore a
gown of navy blue, as did the mother
of the bridegroom. Each wore a
gardenia corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Willcox left later In
the evening for a trip and upon
their return they will reside at 3804
Lockport road.
