Exchange Vows
Wearing a gown of white satin
and Chantilly lace Miss Ruth
Ziemendorf became the bride of
Mr. John Kureczka Jr. at 7 p.m.
Sept. 22 in a candlelight ceremony
in St. John's Lutheran
Church. The Rev. J. W. Thiemecke
officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Phillip Ziemendorf of Niagara
Falls Blvd. and the late
Rev. Ziemendorf. Mr. Kureczka
is the son of Mrs. John Kureczka
of 191 Miller St.
White tapers in seven branch
candelabra and white chrysanthemums
decorated the altar of
the church. Family pews were
marked with bows of white satin.
Mr. John Jaeger played tradi-
tional wedding music and Mrs.
Thiemecki sang "Because" and
"The Lord's Prayer".
The bride's gown was fashiond
with a sweetheart neckline,
trimmed with Chantilly lace,
satin bodice, long sleeves, pointing
over the wrists, and a full
skirt with long train. A tiara of,
satin and seed pearls held h e r
fingertip veil of French illusion.
She carried a bouquet of white
roses and pompons.
The maid of honor, Mrs. Esther
Ziemendorf, wore an orchid
taffeta gown with matching lace
jacket and carried gold pompons.
Mrs. Thomas Hinkley and
Miss Ruth Haaker, bridesmaids,
wore similar gowns of green taffeta
tnd carried rust pompons.
All wore taffeta half-hats trimmed
with flowers to match their
bouquets.
Patricia Ann Hinkley, niece of
the bride, as flower girl, wore
a gold taffeta gown and match-
ing bonnet and carried assorted
pompons in a basket. Wayne
R o g e r Ostolski, the bridegroom's
nephew, carried the
rings on a heart shaped satin
pillow.
Mr. Stanley Kureczka was his
brother's best man and ushers
were Messrs. John Evans and
John Ostolski.
A street length dress of navy
blue lace was worn by the
bride's mother who chose pink
glamellias for her corsage. The
bride's grandmother Mrs. Chris
Ziemendorf was attired in a
brown print dress and wore a
corsage of glamellias.
A reception was given in the
Johnsbuprg* Fire Hall where
Fall flowers decorated the
bride's table.
For a wedding trip to Virginia,
the bride selected a dark green
suit and wore a corsage of yel-
low roses. The couple is now at
home in 380 Broad St.
Prenuptial parties were given
by Miss Ardith Gath and Miss
Theresa Pasciak, Mrs. John Os-
tolski and Mrs. John Evans,
Mrs. John Kureczka, Miss Esther
Ziemendorf and Miss Ruth
Haaker, the Business Girls of
the YWCA, office girls of the
Buffalo Bolt Company and the
Sales department of Buffalo
Bolt.
