Percy Page, Retired Carbo Employee, Dies
Percy Page, 72, of 473 26th St., died today (Sept. 6, 1958) at his home after a short illness. Born in Dover, England, Mr. Page had lived in this city for 51 years and was employed in the maintenance department of the Carborundum Co. until his retirement seven years ago. He was a veteran of the Army and served overseas in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Page; three brothers, Walter, Albert and Fred Page, and two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Dodge and Mrs. Violet Nye, all of this city. Two other sisters, Mrs, Marlot Ort, Middletown, Ohio, and Mrs. Margaret Burton, of England, also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:15 p.m. at the Gridley Funeral Home with the Rev. A. H. Schmoyer, D.D., officiating. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery.
