SHAWNEEMiss Susan Jo Strothmann
and Donald Tisdale will be wed at a 5 p.m.
candlelight ceremony at St. Paul's Church
today (Jan. 23. 1965).
Rev. Kenneth Kolbe will officiate at
the nuptials uniting the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. R. F. Strothmann. 6354 Townline
Road. North Tonawanda, and the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tisdale. 8204 Krull
Parkway. Niagara Falls.
TO BE ESCORTED by her father, the
bride has selected a floor-length gown of a
princess style with long sleeves and a train.
Her Spanish lace mantilla will fold softly
to the waist. She will cany a cascade of
pink and white sweetheart roses with a
white satin ribbon.
Miss Judith Ann Strothmann. Cheektowaga,
will be the maid of honor, wearing a
floor-length pink dress. Similarly attired in
aqua will be Miss Carol Wasik, Lockport,
the bridesmaid.
Their headpieces will be tiaras of crystal
and pearls with veiling of organza to match
their gowns. They will carry irridescent satin
baskets of white mums and pink sweetheart
roses.
CYNTHIA SUE LINDSEY, North Tonawanda,
will be the flower girl, and George
Wasik, Lockport, will be the ring bearer.
Charles Reid, Niagara Falls, will be the
best man. Seating guests will be Cpl. Ronald
Strothmann, New York City, brother
of the bride, and Daniel Bale, Niagara
Falls.
A reception will be held at the Shawnee
Volunteer Fire Company Hall, Lockport
Road, from 7 to 10 p. m U p o n returning
from a wedding trip to Prudhomes. Canada,
the couple will reside at 2009 Hertel
Ave., Buffalo.
