HOEFERT - Lydia Hoefert, 70, of 272 North Ave., North Tonawanda, died unexpectedly Saturday (April 17, 1965) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. She was born in Newfane and had resided in North Tonawanda 67 years. She was a member of St. Matthew's Church; the Ladies Guild, of which she was a past president and the Altar Society of the church. She was also a member of the Golden Age Club of the Tonawandas. She is survived by her husband, Henry C. Hoefert; one daughter, Mrs. Elwin (Ruby) Oligiati of Tonawanda; two sons, Karl F. of Kenmore and Lynn W. of the U. S. Army; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Schumacker of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Egbert Everett of Pembrook. Friends may call at the Hilliard Funeral Home Inc., 147 Delaware St., Tonawanda, where services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Loren Shiley will officiate. Burial in St. Matthew's Cemetery.
