- Frederick L. ‘Fred’ Watson, 74, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late William and Florence (Lutey) Watson.
Fred was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School. He served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1967. Fred was employed as a welder at Harrison Radiator in Lockport, NY for 30 years until his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping, and centered his life around his family.
Mr. Watson was predeceased by his wife, Carol J. (Kasprzak) Watson who passed away in 1991. He is survived by his daughter, Kim M. Watson and predeceased by his son, Frederick E. Watson who passed away in 1983, Fred is also survived by his grandson, Jordan A. Byrd; his loving companion, Yvonne ‘Eve’ M. Kinz; his brother, Mark R. (Jean) Watson and predeceased by his brother Ronald Watson. Survivors also include Eve’s children; Ronald (Colleen) Kinz and Joseph Bresko; Eve’s grandchildren Frederick Kinz, Megan Kinz, Erin Kinz and Joseph Bresko, Jr. as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28th from 4-7 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM followed by interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY with Military Honors.
