The marriage of Miss Marguerite
Bugenhagen, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. H. F. Bugenhagen, to Howard
W. Wendel, son of Alderman and
Mrs. William J. Wendel of Nicholls
Street, Lockport, took place on
Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock at
the home of the bride's parents in
Waterman Street. Lockport.
The ceremony was performed in
the living roomm which was cor-
ated with garden flowers. Raymond
Bugenhagen the bride's brother,
played the wedding march.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore an attractive gown
of white embroidered mousselline de
sole featuring ruffled cape sleeves.
She carried a bouquet of Sweet-
heart and white Killarney roses
mixed with gypsophilia.
Miss Marion Bugenhagen, sister of
the bride,, was maid of onor and
wore a frock of pink net with
matching slippers while Miss Lor-
aine Wendel sister of the bride-
groom, who was bridesmaid,, wore a
frock of blue net with correspond-
ing slippers. Both attendants car-
ried Briarcliff roses and gypophillia
tied with pink and blue maline.
Emory F. Bugenhagen was best man.
The bride's mother wore a becom-
ing gown of yellow flowerd chiffon
with corsage of yellow roses and
Mrs. Wendel mother of the bride-
groom was dressed in gray crepe
combined with blue lace and
shoulder corsage of pink roses.
Immediately following the cere-
mony, a wedding dinner was served.
Covers were laid for twenty.
After a trip to the Thousand
Islands. Mr. and Mrs. Wendel will
I be at home at 154 Locust street,
Lockport. The bride's traveling cos-
tume was a yellow suk crepe suit
with white accessories and corsage
of sweetheart roses.
