The marriage of Miss Julia Eliza-
beth Paradise, and Mr. Ernest
Eugene Covey was solemnized Mon-
day morning at 9 o'clock at the
Sacred Heart church with the
Rev. Father Culvert officiating. Tall
baskets of white gladioli decorated
the altar.
The bride, who was given ln marriage
by her brother, Mr. Angelo
Paradise, wore a wedding gown of
white slipper satin, the laced bodice
with a becoming .V neckline. The
full skirt was fashioned with a
graceful long train. Her double
illusion veil fell from a dainty
coronet and she carried a bouquet
of white pom poms and orchids
Miss Anita Tedesco, cousin of
the bride, wore a floor length gown
of aquamarine chiffon. Her shoul-
der length veil fell from a tiara
of flowers. Her bouquet was of
yellow pom poms and blue del-
phinium.
Mr. Angelo Paradise, brother of
the bride, was the best man.. Plum
crepe with a corsage of roses and
delphinium was the choice of the
bride's mother and the mother of
the bridegroom wore a gown of navy,
blue crepe with corsage of roses
and blue delphinium.
Immedlately after the ceremony
a wedding breakfast was given at
the home of the bride's parents
where a three-tier wedding cake
centered the bride's table. A reception
followed the breakfast.
After a wedding trip Mf, and Mrs.
Covey will reside at 2447 Pierce
avenue.
The bride Is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Paradise of Whitney
avenue, and the bridegroom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. George
Covey, of Thirteenth street
