Funeral services for Simon Thaler.
38 years old, of the Creek road,
near Youngstown, a compositor at
the Moore Business Forms American
Salesbook plant here, whp
died yesterday afternoon at Metm
oris) hospital, will be held Monday
at 3 p.m. at tht Gridley Funeral
home with the Rev. Arthur H.
Bchmoyer, D.D., pastor of Zlon
Evangelical Lutheran church, officiating.
Interment will be in Mem-
orlal Park cemetery.
Born In this city, the son of
Mr. and Mrs. John Thaler, he attended
the local schools and entered
the printing trade at an early
age. He was employed at the local
plant for 19 years and was a member
of the International Typographical
union. He had been ill for
four months.
Surviving are his parents, his
wife, Mrs. Ida Thaler; four chil-
dren. Karl John. Dorlna Laura, Don
Lee and Darryl Lew Thaler, all at
home: three brothers. Howard, Roy
and Robert Thaler, all of thh city,
and a sister, Mrs. Russell Knapp,
of Batavia.
