Vases of white snapdragons
decorated the altar for the marriage
of Miss Audrey Lucille
Thilkey and Joseph Piparata Sat
urday afternoon at 2 o'clock' at
Fust Presbyterian Church. Dr
Stephen K. Palmer officiated at
the double ring ceremony uniting
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs
Frank Thilkey of RD 1 and the
son of Mr and Mrs. Ralph Pipa
rata of Syracuse.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride was attired In a fulllength
gown of white marquisette
with lace inserts over satin fashioned
with a mandarin neckline
and long pointed sleeves. A pearl
tiara held her fingertip veil of il-
lusion and she carried a bridal
bouquet of white roses and carnations.
ATTENDS SISTER
Mrs. Albert Barron was her
sister's attendant in a gown of
pink orchid marquisette and she
carried a bouquet of pink and
white carnations.
The bridegroom was attended by
Albert Barron as best man. Ushers
were Russell Thilkey, brother
of the bride, Hubert and Glenn
Werth, uncles of the bride, and
Robert Barron.
Appropriate music at the church
was provided by Mrs. Patrick
Madriska.
For the wedding, Mrs. Thilkey
wore a navy dress and the mother
of the bridegroom wore powder
blue. Both had corsages of red
roses.
WEDDING RECEPTION
The wedding reception was held
at the home of Mrs. Barron, 32
Mcholls St.
A blue-gray suit was chosen by
the bride for a traveling costume.
The couple will reside at 481 Midland
Ave.. Syracuse.
Out-of-town guests were from
Clarence. Buffalo and Syracuse.
The bride is a graduate of
Deaconess Hospital School of
Nursing Buffalo and the bridegroom
is attending Syracuse Unl
versify. He served in the European
Theater during World War
II
Pre-nuptial showers were given
in honor of the bride by Mrs. tier
aid Bull, also Mrs. Willis A. Thil
key of Clarence.
