Marrone-Reed
A wedding, beautiful in its sim-
plicity, was solemnized at 9 o'clock
Saturday morning, Jan. 24, at Sac-
red Heart church, when Miss Rosa-
lind Ilene Marrone, daughter of Mrs.
Angelo Picerillo, of North avenue,
and the late Mr. Joseph V. Marrone,
became the bride of Mr. Irving
Richard Reed, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Everett F. Reed, of this city. The
Rev. Francis Crowley officiated.
The bride, given In marriage by
her brother, Mr. James V. Marrone.
was charming in a fitted gown of
white chenille-brocaded faille made
with a slight train. Her fingertip,
double illusion veil was held In place
by a crown of seeded pearls. She
carried a white prayer-book cover-j
ed with gardenias, from which fell
streamers of white ribbon and
bovardla.
Miss Emilia L. Marrone, her sister's
only attendant, wore a gown
of aquamarine chenille-brocaded
satin with a slight train. Her
headdress of peach tulle was held
in place by a row of peach velvet
rosebuds. She carried a bouquet
of Talisman rosebuds and bavardia.
Mr. Jack Kennedy was the bridegroom's
best man and the ushers
were Messrs. Everett F. Reed, Jr.,
brother of the bridegroom, and Delbert
A. Everett.
The bride's mother chose a gown
of black and white print with a
corsage of gardenias.
The bridegroom's mother was attired
in a light green crepe gown
with a corsage of gardenias.

Mrs. Fred H. Reed, of Buffalo wore
a blue crepe gown and a corsage of
roses and sweet peas.
At 1 o'clock a dinner was held at
the Ray-Ott club for the members
of the immediate families, after
which the bride and bridegroom
left on a short trip through the
eastern part of New York state
For travelling, the bride wore a
light plaid tweed Jerkin suit with
beige crepe bl»use. London tan
shoes and covert cloth sports coat.

After February 1 they will be at
home at 2780 North Main street.
