Gregory McGhee exchanged
marriage vows. The 5:30 p.m.
double ring ceremony took
place at St. Stanislaus KoMka
Church.

of Mr. and Mrs. Edward

Mr. McGhee is the son of.
Mr. and Mrs. John McGhee,
2S09 Braley Road, Ransomville.
Mrs. Loretta Smistek,
aunt of the bride, sang and
played the organ (luring the

father, the bride wore a gown
of white satapeau with Venise
lace on the high neckline, fitted
bodice, Victorian sleeves
and A-line skirt. Matching
lace edged her Watteau chapel
length train and formed a
bandeau headpiece w h i c h
secured her tiered bouffant
illusion veil. She carried a
nosegay of pink carnations,
stephanotis and roses.

inaid of honor, wore an orchid
chiffon gown with Venise lace
bib and long sleeves. She
carried a nosegay of orchid
daisies with white ribbon.
Similarly attired were the

Miss Margaret Placek; Mrs.
Paul Butry; Mrs. Michael
Gettings. Cortland; and Miss
Susan McGhee, Ransomville.
Thomas Bodie, Tonawanda,
was best man. John McGhee,
brother of the bridegroom;
Phil Wiepert and Don Senior,'
Ransomville; .Gary Placek,
brother of tfie bride; and
Michael Grace, Denver, Colo.,
were ushers.
A reception was held after
the ceremony at American
Legion Portage Post. On their
return from a motor trip to
the Cape Cod area, Mr. and
Mrs. McGhee will reside in
Lockport. The bride is a
teacher at Lockport Senior
High School.
